Latisse is the Matisse of Beautiful Eyes. Latisse solution is a safe, simple way to get the dramatic eyelashes you always dreamed of without sticky false eyelashes, annoying lash extensions or pricey mascara.

What Is Latisse?

Latisse is a medical treatment to enhance the length and prominence of eyelashes. The active ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost, is the same active ingredient in drops used to treat glaucoma.  Patients discovered that one of the side effects of the drop was longer, fuller lashes.  The drop was repackaged for topical cosmetic use on the upper lashes. The treatment is applied to your upper eyelashes once a day. Within 8 weeks, you will see visible results. Typically it takes up to 16 weeks to achieve maximum results with Latisse.

What Can Latisse Do For Me?

In just a few weeks, you will enjoy longer, fuller and darker eyelashes without the inconvenience of mascara, false eyelashes or extensions. You can finally forget about clumping, running or finding an eyelash on your cheek. Cry, go swimming or take a shower without worrying about your eye makeup.

Latisse eyedrops take just a few seconds to apply to achieve lasting results within a couple of months. Ongoing use of Latisse ensures you always have fluttering, flattering eyelashes without toting around a bunch of beauty products. Unlike other beauty treatments, the results of using Latisse always look natural and attractive. The days of looking like Tammy Faye Baker with exaggerated, overdone eyelashes are gone thanks to Latisse.

If you decide to stop using Latisse, usually the results recede within about two months. With regular use, Latisse makes your eyelashes lush, long and lovely with no fuss and no muss.

Is Latisse Safe?

On December 7, 2008, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Dermatologic and Ophthalmic Drugs Advisory Committee voted on unanimously to recommend FDA approval of Latisse for eyelash treatment.

Latisse is formally known as bimatoprost solution. The condition Latisse will treat is defined as hypotrichosis, which means a reduced amount of hair. Latisse is made by Allergan, Inc., leaders in the health industry. Scott Whitcup, M.D., Executive Vice President of Research and Development for Allergan, stated, “Recently, unapproved eyelash products containing active drug ingredients have appeared on the market...LATISSE™ will offer consumers an FDA-approved product which has been extensively studied in well-controlled clinical trials, is manufactured to pharmaceutical standards, is appropriately labeled for use, and is regulated as a prescription product." Allergan, Inc. has been in business since 1950 with headquarters in Irvine, California. The company employs over 8,500 people around the world today with a presence in more than 100 countries. Allergan discovers, develops and markets innovative products for health and well-being including Botox.
